A two-day, free clinic, Your Best Pathway to Health, kicks off next week at the Spokane County Fair Grounds.

About 1,500 volunteers, including doctors, nurses, dentists, message therapists and chaplains will be providing a variety of free services, including primary medical care, minor surgeries (by appointment), dental and vision care, mental health, women’s health, physical and occupational therapy and nutrition and lifestyle coaching. A clothing bank will also be on site.

The event, organized by local Seventh-day Adventists, will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 3 and 4. Patients will also be invited to attend evening presentations titled “Heaven’s Answer,” which is the clinic’s theme, by John Bradshaw, speaker and director of It Is Written, the Adventist television ministry.

The clinic serves as an introduction to the weekend ASI National Convention, which opens Aug. 5, according to Adventist Review Online. ASI is a membership-based organization of Seventh-day Adventist laypeople who are actively participating in the church’s worldwide mission.

For information about the clinic call 1-888-44-PATHWAY.
