On Nov. 18 the Faith Action Network will host a fundraising dinner at the Glover Mansion in Spokane.
FAN is a statewide interfaith coalition whose members work for “a just, compassionate, and sustainable world through community building, education, and courageous public action.”
According to an announcement, faith leaders and advocates from across the state will gather at the event to celebrate the year’s accomplishments and, “to continue to move forward our dream for the common good.”
This dinner will coincide with the dinner held in Renton and will include a live stream of speakers and the presentation of annual awards to advocacy leaders.
In 2018, FAN is celebrating victories in the state legislature, and says it is bracing for the ongoing struggle at the federal level.
“We need your help to keep going strong, fighting on behalf of the values of inclusion, compassion, and justice. We pledge to bring collective power to the issues, to educate on the roots of injustice, and to facilitate advocacy for social change, as together we take courageous public action,” an announcement about the fundraiser reads.
The dinner will be Nov. 18 at 4:30 p.m. at the Glover Mansion, 321 W 8th Ave. Individual tickets start at $85.
