AC unit stolen from St. Matthew Lutheran Church and School

St. Matthew Lutheran Church and School in North Spokane was targeted by thieves for the second night in a row on Tuesday.

On Monday morning staff said they noticed that someone had cut the copper piping on the wires to the air conditioning units outside the church. Staff filed a police report.

When staff returned Tuesday morning, one of the air conditioners was gone.

The church spent Tuesday repairing the fence and will have to replace the stolen unit. They are now considering installing a security system, according to a report on KREM.
