Recently, the Human Rights Campaign released its annual Municipal Equality Index, which assigns cities in each state a score based on steps taken towards LGBTQ+ equality and safety. Spokane earned 67 points out of 100, while Pullman was given a score of 56.
The 2nd Annual Interfaith Pride Worship Service will be held at 7pm on Wednesday June 7, at the McGinnity Room, Spokane. OutSpokane will host the service, with clergy of various faiths participating. Everyone is welcome to attend.
On Saturday at East Central Community Center a panel will lead, "Why Marriage Matters: Conversations with Communities of Color about the Freedom to Marry for All Loving Couples."
