Next week Gonzaga University School of Law will host a community forum on President Donald Trump’s immigration order to restrict travel from seven largely Muslim countries and suspend refugee entry into the United States.
On Dec. 3 at 7 p.m., Gonzaga University’s School of Law will discuss “Black Spokane: The Civil Rights Struggle in the Inland Northwest” in the Barbieri Courtroom. The discussion will be led by Dwayne A. Mack, the Carter G. Woodson Chair in African American History at Berea College in Berea, Kentucky.

A reception will follow from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Cowles Rare Book Reading Room, on the third Floor of the Foley Center Library.

The Human Race is a five-kilometer charity fun run/walk benefiting Partners In Health, an international nonprofit organization that helps raise money for delivering life-saving health care to those who need it most in poor communities around the world.
