On Wednesday, a controversial Facebook page called “Virgin Mary Should’ve Aborted” was unpublished after the social media giant received a number of complaints from Christians who said the page violated Facebook's community standards, the Christian Post reported.

The contentious abortion debate in Texas took a bizarre twist on Tuesday when abortion supporters attempted to drown out anti-abortion activists with chants of "hail Satan."  But, Life News reported Thursday, a Twitter account run by actual Satanists decried the chants, calling them "diabolical."

A lawsuit made public today alleges Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest filed at least 25,000 false claims with The Health Resources and Services Administration for reimbursements in excess of the amount allowed for oral contraceptive pills and at least another 25,000 for reimbursements in excess of the amount allowed for emergency contraceptive, or Plan B, pills under the federal government’s 340B drug reimbursement program.

The Viewpoints question presented on the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade is how can we have a respectful, productive dialogue?
I think the manner in which people talk about this subject is key but in the end it seems people have made up their mind and come to the issue to fight more than find new paths forward.

There are legislatures that cannot pass budgets that adequately fund public education, health and welfare but have the time to debate laws that have been in effect for 40 years. We have crippling debt from war and we are one of the few, if not only, industrialized countries that still has the death penalty.
