Immaculate Heart Retreat Center will host the first evening of a dinner series on Laudato Si:, “Practical Stewardship and Our Responsibility (Part 1)” led by Bishop Emeritus William Skylstad, and the Rev. Joseph Sullivan on Tuesday. The dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the conferences end by 8:30 p.m. The cost for this dinner is $38 per person.
In response to Pope Francis’ Laudato Si, Skylstad Sullivan, a geologist, will open a discussion about the document explaining the principles of the biblical foundations and church teaching about the environment and humankind’s responsibility to care for it. Included will be presentations with slides of stories and events, events in the Northwest, according to a press release.
