World Refugee Day Celebration

Refugee and Immigrant Connections Spokane (RICS) hosts its 11th Annual World Refugee Day celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lair Student Center on the Spokane Community College campus. The free event features food samples from Feast World Kitchen, handmade crafts, cultural performances, speeches and children’s activities honoring the experiences and contributions of refugee and immigrant neighbors.

Workplace Rights Canvassing Training

PJALS and WAND will host a training from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. to share information about Fourth Amendment rights and practice conversations with workers amid increased immigration enforcement. Registration is required.

D.T. Suzuki Seminar
