The Crucible” opens March 7 at the Jacklin Arts and Culture Center in Post Falls and will continue through March 16.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on March 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16 and at 2 p.m. on March 10 and 17.

Directed by Jared Helm, “The Crucible” is a tale of fear and accusation, focusing on the Salem Witch Trials, which took place between 1692 and 1693.

Zack Baker has composed music for the production.
