Micah Yip

Micah Yip is a Seattle-based journalist with experience covering politics, local government and social issues. He currently freelances for AsAmNews, the International Examiner and FāVS News, and formerly reported for The Stranger and the Appeal-Democrat. Micah graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's in political science-journalism from Sacramento State University, where he wrote for The State Hornet as a DEI reporter. His work is fueled by a passion for bringing truth to light, holding power to account and social justice.
