Coffee and Contemplation, a spiritual discussion and prayer event for people of all denominations that takes place regularly at Immaculate Heart Retreat Center, will continue on Sept. 16 with Charles Finck.

The Topic will be “Living with Forgiving.”

According to an announcement “Forgiveness is one of the most difficult things we can do, yet one of the most necessary, both for ourselves and for those who have hurt us. We must often act in direct opposition to how we feel. When we make the decision to forgive and bless, we open ourselves to God and His Holy Spirit and, asking for help, we receive.”

Finck has been counseling and teaching for more than 30 years and is the founder of Liberty Cross Ministries. He specializes in individual and marriage and family counseling and teaches nationally and internationally.

The program will run from 9 a.m.. – 11 a.m. and includes warm beverages and rolls. Cost is $10 per session. Advance reservations are requested. For more information or to register call 509-448-1224.
