Pope Francis on Sunday urged the countries that signed the landmark Paris agreement on climate change to join in a concerted commitment to put it in practice urgently and to remember the poor as they do so.
“Producing an event for the pope is similar to producing a rock concert,” said Blayne Candy, co-founder of Showcall, the D.C.-based events company responsible for producing the papal Mass.
Later this month, at the invitation of Philadelphia’s Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, they’ll be traveling to the City of Brotherly Love to speak on a panel at the World Meeting of Families. The annual event will conclude with a visit from Pope Francis.
