The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist will host a Wesley Arai Carillon Concert Sunday (July 6), offering free music and on South Hill.

On Saturday The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist is hosting its annual Fourth of July Carillon Concert on the grounds of the church. The concert starts at 9 p.m. and continues until the downtown firework display begins.

Carilloneur Jonathan Lehrer, who has played at the The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, during Christmas week since 2008, will once again play the 49 bell carillon following the 4 p.m.

Wesley Arai, Associate Carillonist at the University of California, Berkeley, will return to Spokane for his annual Fourth of July Concert at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.
