FāVS News is concluding its summer fundraising campaign with a targeted appeal to help offset dramatically rising web hosting expenses.
This faith and ethics news site, which has published daily content for 12 years without paywalls, has seen its monthly hosting costs nearly triple from $300 to $849 due to necessary infrastructure upgrades.
“Our site has grown to include roughly 9,000 stories and columns, and we recently had to move to a more powerful server and add security measures to combat constant bot attacks,” said Executive Director Tracy Simmons.
The organization is asking readers to consider monthly donations of $15 to help bridge the gap in what has become its largest operational expense.
