YWCA Spokane will hold its annual Stand Against Racism event on Thursday, April 28 at the Women's Club of Spokane starting at 5:30 p.m.

SpokaneFāVS will resume its in-person Coffee Talk on April 2 with a timely discussion: “Standing for Democracy, in Ukraine and at Home.”

Veradale United Church of Christ members are using their Lenten journey to Easter to ask themselves “How Shall We Communicate with the Religious Right?”

On Thursday evening, three local Latina women will share their stories, followed by discussion and dialogue with the audience, at Community Congregational United Church of Christ in Pullman.

We read with great dismay that the Aryan Freedom Network, a white supremacist group, is having a gathering on March 12 at Hayden Lake and has said that part of their purpose is to identify, “things we can do to make our communities a little better.”

This month, through its annual Mardi Bras event, Volunteers of America (VOA) and Transitions hopes the Spokane community will join them in helping women experiencing homelessness.

On Feb. 5 our Coffee Talk panelists will share their stories, or speak to how they’ve navigated loneliness, grief and love during the pandemic.
