Sebastian Moraga

Sebastian Moraga has joined the FāVS News team, as a bilingual freelance writer. A native of Chile, Sebastian comes to FāVS after 23 years in communications throughout Washington state, in journalism and public relations. Sebastian’s articles and nonfiction stories have also appeared in a variety of publications, including Chicken Soup for The Soul, The Good Life and Discover Washington Wine. He was named the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association’s Feature Writer of the Year in 2010. Sebastian graduated from Washington State University in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in communications and from the University of Washington in 2011 with a master’s degree in communications. He’s a married father of two children, a sportscaster, a licensed translator and an avid lapel pin collector. He lives in Cashmere, Washington, with his family and their cats. He pays the bills working as a communications consultant for WSDOT.
