When you wake up in the morning, God smiles
When the spark of your soul flamed into creation, God rejoiced

Just as Adam cried out in joy when he saw Eve,
“At last, this is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh”,
so too God cries out, “This is spirit of my spirit, heart of my heart”.

Just as rays emanate from the Sun
and shoots sprout forth from a seed
so too your soul emanates from the heart of God

Do not fret or worry about things that really don’t matter
Don’t be insecure about the identity that was never you anyways!
See with God’s eyes

Who you are is hidden in God,
beyond your understanding,
more beautiful than you can imagine

Do not cling to the small self
or its myriad of preoccupations
You were made for more

Come to recognize the Divine in your DNA
the God who lives in your bones
and you will be freed to love

You live in God
from God
with God
for God

Live from that place, love from that source
and let the rest fall away
like shadows scattered
by the burst of a ray of Sun
