How beautiful she is
when she lets her hair down
and dances among the peoples of the earth
when she leaves her footprints upon your soul

You must wait in patience
and listen silently
to hear the sacred drums beneath the earth
to which her rhythm beats

Her dance echoes throughout the world
beckoning to her lost children
to come home to her bosom
and drink of her sacred milk

Her ancient lullaby
calms the anxious soul
as her sweet song
imparts her wisdom to the simple

Sweet Sophia
how you whisper to me
upon the winds of grace
and leave your kiss upon my face.
