I wanted to share this stunning, ethereal song, Long to Live. It is written and sung by Emily Haines and performed by Metric.  I think it suggests the gossamer beauty and mystery of life in the face of the gross absurdities portrayed by the movie, Cosmopolis.  What do you think?

Cosmopolis is a movie/book about a young billionaire financial genius who takes a trip across New York in his ultra-stretch limousine to get a haircut. In this wild ride through the bizarre, Don DeLillo shows the vulgarities of our financial system and even Western Society in the face of human suffering (please see my book review). The Cosmopolis soundtrack is written and produced by Howard Shore in collaboration with Emily Haines, James Shaw, and K’NAAN.
