SpokaneFāVS is pleased to announce that it has been accepted as a non-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service and can now operate fully as a 501c3.

This organization had to re-apply for non-profit status after parting ways with Religion News LLC last year and  has since been operating as non-profit under the Inland Northwest Community Foundation umbrella. With help from the Gonzaga University School of Law, FāVS was accepted this month as its own 501c3. The exemption was backdated to February of this year.

This means that SpokaneFāVS can now not only apply for grants, but donors can receive a tax-deduction for contributing to this publication. Recurring PayPal donations are greatly appreciated!

Donations go towards site operation costs, which includes marketing, maintenance and staffing.
