Poem by Christi Ortiz

All ecstasy flows from this place

that swallows all suffering

collapses all division

returning to the innocence

the bliss of just being

where the solid bedrock of peace

lies asleep in every disturbance

What if I had the courage

and the diligence

To sit in this one seat

At the mouth of God

and brave the holy fire

that burns up all illusion

purified into essential nature

the blaze of truth

is only hot enough

if I anchor unwaveringly

in the Now

staying inseparably close

to source emerging

from the mouth of this moment

All ecstasy flows from this place

that swallows all suffering

collapses all division

returning to the innocence

the bliss of just being

where the solid bedrock of peace

lies asleep in every disturbance

Gorgeous meditative poem, lifting to that place of still, silent, bliss!
