Elliott, a Fellow of the American Guild of Organists (FAGO), studied at Peabody Conservatory and Catholic University, earning a Bachelor of Music degree from Curtis Institute in Philadelphia and Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from Eastman in Rochester, New York. He has been organist at the Wanamaker organ in Philadelphia, the largest pipe organ in the world, located in what is now Lord & Taylor’s department store. In addition to touring and recording with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, he also plays for weekly radio broadcasts and with his fellow organists in presenting daily 30-minute organ recitals in the Tabernacle.
