The 4th annual Northwest Pagan Fest (NWPF) will take place Sept. 6 at the Spokane Community College Lair, 1810 N. Greene St., from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This year’s theme will be “The Four Elements.”

The event will include workshops and lectures, readers and healers, live music and entertainment, food trucks and “all the handmade pagan supplies you could dream of!”

There will also be a kids craft booth and various vendors peppered throughout the site. Some will even host raffle baskets to win.

Mankey

Jason Mankey, well-known author of several pagan books and the “Raise the Horns” pagan blog will be NWPF’s special guest. He is a 3rd Degree High Priest himself and his book titles include “The Horned God of the Witches,” “Transformative Witchcraft,” and “Raymond Buckland: International Man of Mystery—The Father of Witchcraft.”

Workshops Mankey will lead include “Crafting the Best Rituals of Your Life” and “Crazy for Candle Magic.”

Organizers make this event accessible for families, the community at large and fellow Pagans. The event is also meant to also bring different Pagan groups together to celebrate their similarities and differences.

“But most of all, to help Pagans feel seen, accepted, and safe,” the website mission statement emphasizes.

The event is free, with some vendors charging for readings, massages, etc. For more information, visit NWPF’s Facebook page.
