Christian tradition talks about life after death quite a bit. In fact, a lot of faith communities focus on the saving act of God in Christ is to keep our toes out of the fires of hell. I believe in a loving, gracious and compassionate God who wants the best for creation. God’s continual saving activity as witnessed by scripture (the Bible) tells me that God will not cease that activity once we die.

I do not know where we go when we die, but from the evidence mentioned above and tons of more evidence encountered everyday in the beauty and wonder of creation I believe our lives continue with God and I receive comfort from that thought without having to imagine the details. God is loving, compassionate, just, and forgiving and in charge of eternity. I am comfortable with what God has in store next.   guess part of my submission to God is to allow God to reign eternity with out layering my expectations on it. This approach could be called ecclesial laziness, but I think it might be faith.
