George Winston, a grammy award winning pianist, will be performing at the Ray & Joan Kroc Center in Couer d’Alene in late September.

Winston, who grew up in Montana, has released 17 studio albums and six soundtracks. His most recent album, released this year, is, “Spring Carousel – A Cancer Research Benefit EP.”

He plays melodic folk piano, New Orleans R&B piano, and stride piano, and also plays blues harmonica, acoustic guitar and Hawaiian slack-key guitar.

The concert will be at 7:30 p.m., Sept. 23. Tickets are $27 and can be purchased online.
