Sen. Lisa Brown will be the keynote speaker at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Spokane on Saturday for the first Legislative Conference in Eastern Washington.

Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the conference starts at 10 a.m. and will continue until 3 p.m.

At the conference issues facing the 2013 legislature will be discussed, including immigration, the state economy and a diverse society.
