Reflections on the Sikh temple shooting 1

I spent several years living and working just a few miles from the Sikh temple in Oak Creek, Wisconsin where seven people lost their lives.  There I worked with a fellow engineer who attended that temple and had many fascinating discussions with him about his religion.  As a highly regarded expert in transmission relaying, he has long since moved on to other pursuits, so I’m sure he was not present on Sunday.  But the reality and proximity of evil brings home to me our desperate need for God.
